Marsh Fischmann & Breyfogle LLP has grown since its formation in 2000 to become one of the larger law firms in the Rocky Mountain region with a practice that is exclusively directed to intellectual property (IP) law. MFB's IP practice focuses on the formulation and execution of technology and identity protection strategies, as well as transactions involving the development, acquisition, and exploitation of protected positions. In relation to that focus, MFB maintains extensive domestic and foreign IP prosecution practices.
Our prosecution approach is aggressive, with significant emphasis on applying advocacy skills to obtain the desired protection. In pursuing protection, we frequently draw upon our collective experiences, taking advantage of the long-term working relationships of our attorneys.
Should specialized IP enforcement/defense needs arise, we will work with the client to engage outside litigation counsel and will interact with litigation counsel until the matter has been resolved. This approach best facilitates our prosecution focus and accommodates client preferences.
Our client base includes large and mid-size companies, as well as start-up ventures. The majority of our client relationships entail successive, related protection efforts, wherein client-specific technical expertise and enhanced protection strategies are developed.
